# Gladiator Arena: ROI Trading Competition

> Compete on ROI, climb the leaderboard, and claim your share of the prize pool.

## Overview

Open to all Dexari users. No entry fee.

Registration closes: Oct 24, 2025 at 00:00 UTC
Competition window: Oct 1, 2025 at 12:00 UTC to Oct 31, 2025 at 12:00 UTC\
Prize pool: Starts at \$100,000 (paid in USDC)

* Increases by \$50,000 for every \$1B in total competition volume
* Capped at \$1,000,000 maximum

All eligible participants also earn **2x Dexari Points** on their competition volume, applied on top of existing tier multipliers.

## How to participate

1. Download the Dexari app and sign up, or upgrade to the latest version
2. Accept the [Trading Competition Terms](https://help.dexari.com/legal/trading-competition-terms) in-app when prompted or via the competition banner
3. Trade as usual during the competition window
4. Track your standing on the in-app leaderboard

## Scoring

The leaderboard is ranked by Return on Investment (ROI).\
ROI is calculated using time-weighted rate of return (TWRR):

* ROI = (current equity – last equity – sum of cash flow events) ÷ last equity
* Equity includes Spot and Perps account value
* Wallet balances are not included; transfers to or from Wallet count as cash flow events
* For users with imported Hyperliquid accounts, staking and vault balances are excluded
* Transfers to or from vaults or staking are treated as regular deposits or withdrawals (cash flow events)
* ROI is measured continuously and aggregated relative to the competition start date\
  This ensures deposits and withdrawals are netted out, creating a fair measure of returns regardless of account size.

## How winners are determined

* Rankings are based on ROI % at the end of the competition window
* Eligibility checks are applied to ranked users
* If an ineligible user holds a rank, prizes roll down to the next eligible user

## Side pools

Dexari is collaborating with Hyperliquid ecosystem partners to offer additional rewards. These prizes are provided and managed by partners to encourage exploration while trading via Dexari:

* **Hypio:** 1 Hypio NFT for rank 1
* **PiP:** 1 PiP NFT each for the top 3
* **Otties:** 5 Otties NFTs for the 5 highest-volume traders holding an Otties NFT
* **Locals Only:** 1 Locals Only NFT each for the top 3 highest-volume traders holding a Locals Only NFT
* **OptFun:** \$1,000 USDC for the highest PnL trader using OptFun
* **HyperPie:** \$500 USDC split as \$250 / \$150 / \$100 for the top 3 traders using HyperPie
* **HL Names:** \$1,234 USDC for the rank 1 HL Names holder
* **Pear:** 5% community points for Dexari wallets that use Pear

Final partner mechanics will be confirmed and announced in-app and on social.

## Eligibility for prizes

To qualify for prizes, participants must:

* Reach at least \$1,000,000 in total trading volume during the competition window
* Execute at least 80% of that volume directly on the Dexari app
* Accept the Trading Competition Terms during registration
