How do I recover untransferred assets from my beta wallet?

The Pectra wallet upgrade is automatically initiated the first time you log in to a version beyond v0.9.0. This upgrade involves transferring assets from your old Main wallet to the new one. In some cases, certain transfers may fail initially, but you can recover them manually by following the steps outlined below.

Export Your Private Key from Dexari

  1. Open the Dexari app.
  2. Go to Me > Settings > Export Keys.
  3. Export and securely save your private key. This key gives you access to your pre-upgrade, non EIP-7702 enabled legacy wallet address (a smart contract-based, account abstraction enabled wallet).

Import Your Private Key into a Compatible Wallet

  1. One option is to use the MetaMask browser extension:
  2. Open MetaMask and select Import Account.
  3. Paste your exported private key to import your legacy wallet address.
  4. Alternatively, you may use any other wallet or tool that supports importing private keys and interacting with ERC-4337 smart contract wallets.

Enable Smart Contract Wallet Access (if needed)

  1. If using MetaMask, add the smarthub-snap to enable ERC-4337 smart account support.
  2. Follow the instructions in the smarthub-snap documentation or your chosen wallet’s documentation to connect and interact with your smart contract wallet.

Transfer Your Assets

  1. Once your legacy wallet is accessible, transfer any remaining assets to your new Dexari wallet address.

How do I recover a legacy Dexari account created before the Turnkey migration?

With the migration from Web3Auth to Turnkey, Dexari has enhanced wallet security and user experience. Turnkey enables you to link your Dexari wallet to your email, Apple, or Google account, and optionally secure it further with a Passkey on your device. This migration means that legacy accounts created during the Dexari beta (pre-Turnkey) require a specific recovery process.

Enter the Recovery Flow

  1. Open the Dexari app.
  2. Select Create account or Log in.
  3. If you do not see your account, choose No login? Recover account.
  4. Select the account you wish to recover.
  5. Follow the prompted recovery steps to regain access.

Lost your device?

  1. On your new device, open Dexari.
  2. Choose Log in to another account in the sign-in flow.
  3. Enter your login credentials to log in.
  4. In the Me tab, click the gear icon to access settings.
  5. In the Security section, generate a new Passkey on your new device.

How do I delete my Dexari account?

At Dexari, we believe users should have full control over their accounts—including the ability to delete them if they choose. If you want to delete your Dexari account, the process is simple. Below, we outline the steps and important considerations before proceeding.
Before You Delete Your Account
  • Account deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, you will no longer be able to access your wallet through Dexari.
  • Onchain data remains. While Dexari can delete Dexari-related data, blockchain transactions are permanent and cannot be erased. Your wallet and any past transactions will still exist onchain.
  • Export your private key first (if needed). If you want to use your wallet with another platform, you should export your private key before deleting your account.

  1. Open the Dexari app and log into your account.

Navigate to Account Settings

  1. Go to the Me tab in the bottom navigation bar.
  2. Select the gear icon in the top right of the screen.
  3. Select Account data.

Delete Your Account

  1. Tap Delete Account.
  2. Confirm deletion in the pop-up window.
  3. Once confirmed, your account and all associated Dexari data will be permanently removed.
